MedExperts Acquires Dynahealth, LLC - The original Altapoint ASP

MedExperts, LLC, one of the nations largest and most widely used medical vendors, and Dynahealth, LLC, one of the nations oldest medical software hosting services, announced the signing of an agreement whereby MedExperts has acquired Dynahealth’s ASP client base. In early June, MedExperts began transferring clients from Dynahealth servers over to the MedExperts data center in Tulsa, OK. The acquisition involved clients from coast to coast and the transition was completed on schedule by June 15th. The arrangement evolved from a long, amicable relationship between the two companies despite the entities offering, what some would view, as competing products.

Dynahealth, LLC is one of the nation’s renowned application service providers (ASP). Dynahealth was the very first Altapoint ASP provider, and was one of the first businesses of its kind when they came online in 1996. The company created a very successful following, and over the years, accumulated a considerable client base. Dr. David Cooper, a principle at Dynahealth has been credited with many of the early designs and features of Altapoint, and Brenda Souder of Dynahealth has been a mainstay in the Altapoint environment since its humble beginnings over 10 years ago. “I have had a long, working relationship with MedExperts, and I am confident that our clients will be in good hands” said Brenda Souder of Dynahealth. “We could not ask for a better company to carry on our legacy.”
